Why Morocco?

Morocco has a constitutional monarchy, under King Mohammed VI, who is a leading force in the country’s parliament and its policy making. The King’s progressive spirit and the nature of his policies have transformed Morocco into a land of promise, while huge investment is going into infrastructure projects to encourage overseas interest in the tourist industry here.

A moderate Arab state, Morocco maintains close relations with Europe and the United States. It is a member of the UN, contributing consistently to UN peacekeeping efforts on the continent.

By 2010 Morocco is expected to welcome some 10 million tourists per annum and this will undoubtedly have a very positive effect on any property investments made today.

Nov-2007 the Morocco’s transport minister confirmed Morocco plans to invest $2.61 billion to build a high-speed rail line linking the northern city of Tangier to the country's commercial capital, Casablanca. This plan will cut the journey between the two cities to two hours and 10 minutes instead of five hours and 45 minutes currently, and will have great impact on the fast development of Tangier.

Moroccan culture is entertaining and exiting. The people are friendly and there is colour everywhere you look. Genuine hospitality is engrained in their culture and it is not uncommon to strike up friendships with people you meet and to feel enveloped in their lifestyle. Moroccan style is a new trend in decoration, which has been made popular by the vogue of Riads renovation in Marrakech. Its becoming popular in some circles in France, UK and the USA.
